Kurt was born and raised in Wisconsin, and this is where he developed his lifelong love of the outdoors. He believes his career was, in a sense, chosen for him when he took an aptitude test in high school and found architecture on the top of the list of potential career paths. It sounded like a fascinating opportunity. He graduated from the University of Minnesota, one week later began his first job in Chicago, and eventually settled into life in Minneapolis.
When he is not designing structures, Kurt spends his free time outside—golfing, hunting and spending time on lakes. He also enjoys taking rides on his motorcycle, snowmobiling, and snowboarding. In addition to outdoor activities, he is an avid reader of both fiction and nonfiction books. Kurt draws from these many experiences to find every client’s ideal.
